I have purchased 2 of these NX6120 batteries. They work exactly the same as the original hp compaq laptop batteries with one exception, they don't last as long as the originals. The first battery lasted for approximately one year. That's pretty good considering the very reasonable price.
My satisfaction to this product is far beyond my expectation. It takes reasonable time to complete the first charge. The performance is just like my original IBM ThinkPad R50E Battery - making my battery status light flash in proper sequence and lasting to the time as indicated in my battery meter.
This laptop is going on quite a few years old now. The original SONY PCGA-BP2NX Battery was long dead. I have gone through 2 other aftermarket batteries that failed within a month and required swapping for another. The last one, after swapping for a new one lasted about a year finally to melt after showing poor performance from new. This one however, has worked just as well as the OE one did.
